The Sauces
When going as far back to basics as we do, even smoking our own water for our sauces there might be slight differences in the tastes of all of the sauces
How do you solve this you ask?
Good question
All our sauces come with batch numbers. We keep a record of all the nuances of each batch of sauce so you know what variance if any there is in the sauces.


The Rubs
Unlike the art that is making our sauces, we can be a little more precise with our spice blends.
Like the sauces the blends will come out in batches, but there isn’t a flavour index.


How did we get here

During a BBQ in 20-something, our founder decided to be experimental and make a BBQ sauce for his friends and family.

After his first bite, we had realised the deception of Heinz, HP and even Reggae Reggae sauce. He hadn’t experienced real flavour and after a lot of demands and protests at his doorstep he decided he had to save the people from bland food and thus South London Kitchen was born.

South London is a melting pot of different cultures offering far flung and varied cuisines. You can’t get fed up of the smorgous board of flavours that is on offer and as such it’s the inspiration for our brand. Bringing the varied flavours of South London to the world (again).

Food is just one of the reasons we love South London. We’ve all got roots here and we want to do our bit to make it better for everyone. We have decided to partner up with a STEP NOW, an emerging youth organisation founded by four young men, who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds and faced a number of difficult challenges.
